bruce hoffmanBruce Hoffman wrote his first book, And My Mother Danced with Chesty Puller, about his experiences in the United States Marine Corps. He returned to Tampa, Florida, and retired as a captain from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office after twenty-seven years of service. He later worked for a federal agency in Washington, DC, was the first security chief for the Tampa Port Authority after 9/11, and owned an investigative and polygraph business. He is retired and lives in Dahlonega, Georgia.
